FREELANCE STYLIST FOR FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS
We're looking for a freelance stylist to join September on Fridays and Saturdays!
We're looking for a warm person with a good vibe, fun and outgoing, a real out-of-the-box personality, great confidence, an independent thinker, someone who genuinely cares about the bride standing in front of her, who is stylish, and knows that giving great, attentive service is everything. We're doubling down on that; we're known for our amazing service and have high standards, from first fitting to last e-mail, you're able to remember all details, help with specific requests and able to think far beyond the avarage and obvious to help September brides.
You truly listen to our brides, are interested in their stories, and you are able to give an honest opinion. You're able to step in and suggest fun or surprising details or custom options to finish the look so each bride receives made to measure advice and a dress that feels 100% uniquely hers.
We would love to have someone on board who has a great eye for detail, is interested in fashion, design, (fashion)history, culture, alterations, dressmaking, etc.
You'll learn about our designers, collections and the customisation options, so you'll be confident enough to answer every question in a 1.5 hour appointment.
We highly prefer someone who is able to work freelance but a temporary parttime contract can be discussed.
THE JOB
- Opening and closing with practical day-to-day running of the shop
- Welcoming brides and their guests in the shop and create a genuinely personal experience
- Guiding all appointments from start to finish, on time
- Help brides getting dressed and style them with accessories, explain custom or different options
- Keep track of each bride's preferences and details throughout appointments
- Make sales and guide the brides through our buying process with the right documents
- Follow up appointments and being a reliable and friendly point of contact for our brides
- Take precise measurments for dress orders
- Keeping the showroom tidy, clean and organised
- Representing September and maintaining the level of service and attention to detail our clients have come to expect
- Working independently and autonomous is key
- Speaking fluent Dutch and English is key for our international customers, French or other languages is a plus
- Communicate with our freelance seamstress
- Flexible start, preferably mid December 2026
